Many people are seeking to find the missing piece for an incomplete set, or enjoy glass or crystal. This is why we bring together many glass experts in a single room once a year: antique dealers, second-hand dealers, collectors, antique glassware enthusiasts and creators of modern glassware.
Thanks to the Glass Fair, collectors and enthusiasts will get to see, in an hour and without too much effort, as much glassware as if they had sought out that most coveted object for months and travelled for hundreds of kilometres. No less than 420 meters (four times the length of a football pitch) of tables filled with glasses and crystals..
Tens of thousands of pieces of Val St Lambert, St Louis, Vonèche, Herbatte, Baccarat, Chênée, Murano, Bohême, Zoude, molten glass by Gallé, Daum, Schneider, Leloup, Lalique, will be exhibited by over seventy glass and crystal specialists.
As tradition dictates, a check for 2,500 Euros will be awarded, as every year, on Sunday morning, the Friends of the Blind of Ghlin (Amis des Aveugles de Ghlin), to fund the purchase and training of a guide dog.
